Our little informal hotel offers beds in 6 wooden bungalows in the jungle, 4 rooms in the second floor of the main house and 12 beds in our dorm under the thatched roof. The prices range from $13 to $65.

The Hotel Kangaroo is situated at Guatemalas beautiful Rio Dulce at the waterfront in the jungle and is only reachable by boat.
The price of your accommodation includes one free boat transfer from Rio Dulce to the hotel on arrival and from the hotel to Rio Dulce on departure.
All additional transfers
between 7 am and 9 pm are charged at Q 50.

From Rio Dulce "Puerto Lancheros"
to Hotel Kangaroo:
10.30 am, 1.30 pm, 3.30 pm and at 5.30 pm
From Hotel Kangaroo to Rio Dulce:
9 am and 1 pm

The kitchen offers local freshly prepared dishes with Guatemalan and Mexican influences. The dining hall offers space for both guests and visitors.
Kitchen service is available 7 am - 8 pm.
